Cello Sound Bath
with Shannon “Oli” Kiley
9:00am to 10:20am
Give your nervous system space to ground with a deeply restful Cello Sound Bath, led by music therapist and cellist Shannon “Oli” Kiley.
This immersive experience begins with gentle guided breathwork and offers a safe container to let go and be held by the deep tones of the cello. Unlike traditional sound baths, Shannon’s approach centers the cello as a vibrational tool—its warm, resonant frequencies gently soothe the nervous system, loosen physical and emotional tension, and invite a profound sense of peace. Come enjoy this moment of pause, deep release, and inner stillness.

Conscious Facilitation
with varun khattar sharma
10:30am to 12:30pm
Conscious Facilitation is back!
Launched in 2025, Conscious Facilitation is a workshop series facilitated by varun khattar sharma for those seeking to develop a more liberatory facilitation practice. In the May 21 session, you’ll have an opportunity to analyze your approach to facilitation using a leadership compass. Then, we’ll explore the opportunities and challenges associated with each orientation- North (Action), East (Vision), South (Empathy), and West (Analysis). Finally, we’ll discuss how systems of oppression dis-orient us and how we can find our way back to center in order to be more effective as facilitators in navigating common dynamics in groups working towards liberation.

Reverence: An Archival Altar
with Arvia Walker
10:30am to 12:30pm
Join artist, curator, memory worker and political organizer Arvia Walker for a workshop centered on the resistance practice of building and keeping our own archives, and using this practice as a place of reverence and altar-building. In this workshop, we will take the first steps toward building our personal and family archives and explore this practice as a place of reverence and altar-building. Through this hands-on workshop, we will create both digital and physical preservation practices.

Relief Printmaking w/ Lego Dots
with Dani “silencio” Ramirez

Build your own designs and messages while learning how to handprint using collage, inks, and more. What Our Bodies Know as Organizers
with Angela Clinton
2:00pm to 4:00pm
Inviting organizers, activists and change makers to reflect on using ourselves as instruments of change. This workshop integrates body, mind and spirit to explore lessons learned and get curious about what you know, what you wish you could do over, how to stay in it and what it would take to re-engage if you’ve stepped away.

Portraits of Protest
with Rachel Liu
15min Sessions Throughout the Day
In response to civil rights activist, Ruby Sales question “Where does it hurt?” Portraits of Protest is a space to embody the answer to that question in this time of collapse and undoing. How can we bring our bodies as art, as a unspoken response, as an act of protest? Join photographer Rachel Liu for a private 15min session. Props and wardrobe options provided but feel free to be creative and bring what helps you answer the question of where it hurts.
Fabric is freely offered and produced with 🧡 by CEIO.
